West End Theatre Breaks
Don Gallagher (pictured below) joins the cast of West End musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The stage veteran will replace Tony Sheldon as ‘Bernadette’ in the production which plays at the Palace Theatre. The show recently announced its booking period is being extended to February 2011. Jason Donovan (Tick/Mitzi) and Oliver Thornton (Adam/Felicia) retain their roles. |

A Bus Journey of Self-DiscoveryThe musical tells the story of three drag queens, Mitzi, Felicia and Bernadette, who take a bus journey of self-discovery when they take their show to the middle of the Australian Outback. The content is loud, the costumes amaze and the soundtrack is packed with dance floor hits. The show is based on the hit 1994 movie ‘The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’. |

West End RolesDon Gallagher’s stage credits include ‘Roger de Bris’ in the Mel Brook’s musical ‘The Producers’, ‘Javert’ in Les Miserables and ‘Pierre Guerre’ in ‘Martin Guerre’. He has also appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company and has many TV credits to his name, including ‘Casualty’ and ‘Agatha Christie’s Poirot’. |
