Remember the ‘80s?The decade of shoulder pads, legwarmers and cheesy pop music also gave us some memorable ‘feel good’ films. Who can forget Dirty Dancing, Fame or the fantastic Footloose?!Flashdance tells the story of 18 year old steel welder Alex, who dreams of attending a prestigious dance school. With no formal training the odds are against her, but Alex has the passion to make the improbable happen. The film featured songs that became instant classics, including ‘Flashdance… What a Feeling’ which went on to win an Academy Award. |
