Full Weekend Breaks

A weekend break in the West End traditionally has always had to be on a Friday or Saturday as most shows do not perform on a Sunday, meaning rushing down on a Friday night after work or just squeezing in one night on a Saturday. That is all set to change with an increasing amount of shows opting for a Sunday performance.

Jersey Boys

The Jersey Boys is the latest show to offer a Sunday performance. Dropping its Monday night performance you can now catch the show every Sunday at 3pm. Unlike many successful jukebox musicals, the Jersey Boys serves not only as a fantastic musical, but as a faithful documentary of the rise of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

All The Fun Of The Fair

The brand new David Essex musical All The Fun Of The Fair, set to open at the Garrick Theatre on the 17th April, will be having a Sunday performance at 4pm and no Monday showing. The musical tells the story of Levi Lee, a fun fair owner who is recently widowed and father of a typical teenage son. According to the gypsy fortune teller he is in store for mystical and dangerous times. The gypsy just so happens to be in love with him. The musical includes many of Essex’s well known songs, including a Winter’s Tale, Gonna Make You A Star, Rock On and the title track.

The show has opened to rave reviews with star of the show Sheridan Smith getting hoards of fans queuing at the stage door night after night. The story revolves around California popular girl Elle Woods (Sheridan Smith) who follows her ex-boyfriend Warner (Duncan James) to Harvard  Law School in an attempt to win him back after he ruthlessly dumped her for someone more serious.
