Giant Maze Highlights London Attractions

Tourists and Londoners are being treated to a free attraction this week, celebrating the best that the West End has to offer. A giant temporary maze erected in Trafalgar Square includes information on different West End sights and attractions. It is open to members of the public from 11am till 8pm until Friday 6th August.

Explore the West End and London Theatre

Parts of the maze are named after West End streets, encouraging visitors to learn more about each of the places and to discover the hidden gems of our bustling capital.

Each day the maze also celebrates a different West End theme. Monday’s theme was London theatre, with cast members Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Avenue Q making colourful appearances. Food, fashion, culture and music are also being showcased amongst the confusing hedges.

Jace Tyrrell, from the West End Partnership, said: "By creating the maze and filling it with some of the best examples of what the West End has to offer, we're hoping to encourage visitors to go beyond their usual path and enjoy getting a little lost."
