Hair the Musical: Final Two Weeks

There’s just two weeks left to see the fabulous hippy rock musical Hair at the Gielgud Theatre. The spirit of the ‘60s returned to the West End in April. It stars the phenomenal Broadway cast who led the New York show to the 2009 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival. The show will close it's doors in September, replaced by a new comedy Yes, Prime Minister.
Hair the Musical

Great Music, Long Hair, Love and War

Hair the Musical tells the story of a group of young New Yorkers struggling to balance their lives, loves and lifestyle with the looming Vietnam War draft. Claude (the group’s conscience) must decide whether to answer America’s call. He looks up to Berger (the group’s leader), and falls in love with student-activist Sheila.

As men burn their draft cards and grow their hair long, Claude is faced with an unbearable decision - resist the draft as his friends have done, or compromise his pacifist principles and step up for his country...

A sensational ‘60s score includes the songs ‘Aquarius’, ‘Good Morning Star Shine’ and ‘Let the Sun Shine In’.

Yes, Prime Minister Moves In

Hair the Musical will close on 04 September 2010. Yes, Prime Minister will open at the Gielgud Theatre on 16 September 2010, now booking into January 2011.
