The full workshop cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s
Phantom sequel Love Never Dies has been revealed. Months of speculation have now been put to rest now the entire score has been recorded.
The plethora of West End stars committed to tape includes, as rumoured, Ramin Karimloo as the Phantom Erik and Sierra Boggess (below left with Karimloo) as his protégée Christine Daae. Karimloo currently plays the title role in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Boggess originated the role of Ariel in Disney’s musical The Little Mermaid on Broadway in 2007. She left the production earlier this year.

Playing Christine’s husband Raoul is TV personality John Barrowman (above right). While nationally known as a presenter and judge on Andrew Lloyd Weeber’s TV reality shows, Barrowman has extensive stage credits. Like Karimloo, he has also played his role before in the first instalment. He appeared as Raoul in Phantom in 1996.
The role of Meg Giry is played by former Maria and Lloyd Webber’s Hollyoaks co-star Summer Strallen (below left). The role of Meg’s mother, the stern choreographer Madame Giry is played by TV and film actress Sally Dexter.

It is unclear whether or not this is the cast that will appear in the show when it opens. Having said that, it is actually unclear when the show will open. It is thought that it will make its premiere early in 2010, and Lloyd Webber is confidant that Ramin Karimloo will play the Phantom. It has also been reported that in the show, Meg will be played by I’d Do Anything finalist Niamh Perry (above right).
