Paul Clarkson reprises the role of poetry loving bus conductor Alfie Byrne in Director Ben De Wynter s acclaimed production of A Man of No Importance.
Based on the 1994 movie A Man of No Importance , starring Albert Finney and Tara Fitzgerald, the musical follows the story of Dublin man Alfie Byrne; a man never happier than when reading the poetry of Oscar Wilde to his bus passengers, or directing plays in the local church hall. When forced to confront a lifelong secret, Alfie must face a bumpy road to self-discovery.
With a book by Terence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Aherns, A Man of No Importance transfers to the West End after successful Fringe and Off-Broadway runs.
