Feel Good Musical Comes to Edinburgh

Hairspray, the hit West End musical comedy comes to Edinburgh, with Michael Ball reprising the hilarious role of busty mom Edna Turnblad.

Hairspray tells the story of Tracy Turnblad, the big girl with the big heart, who dreams of being a dancer on the Corny Collins Show. When auditions are announced Tracy jumps at the chance, only to be thwarted by the show’s shallow producer. With a little help from her mom, and the black kids from Special Ed’ class, Tracy fights back to put the world to rights.

Hairspray is a fantastic feel-good show which has played to packed houses in the West End and on New York’s Broadway. Original West End ‘Edna’ Michael Ball is delighted to be returning to the role of a lifetime.
