The Show Must Go On

The complexity of the production saw the first public preview delayed from Saturday to Monday, as technicians worked hard to get everything ready. There was further drama when leading lady Sierra Boggess fell ill and missed the final dress rehearsal. Thankfully, by Monday, Sierra had recovered, the stage crew were ready, and the show was able to open at last!

Monday night saw a small technical hitch following the first musical number. After a few moments of work behind the scenes, the production restarted and ran smoothly to the end. The audience reaction was positive, with many on their feet to reward the cast with a standing ovation.
