Love Never Dies, the next chapter to Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.

Set in 1907 Love Never Dies continues the story of the beautiful Soprano Christine Daa . Ten years after the flight of the Phantom from the Paris Opera House, Christine arrives in New York with her husband Raoul and their son Gustave to perform an engagement at Coney Island, the new playground of the rich. She soon discovers the identity of the shadowy figure that has lured her away from Europe to sing, and the shocking events of the Paris Opera House come crashing back into her life

Love Never Dies: Phantom Rollercoaster Continues

Love Never Dies, the next chapter to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.

Set in 1907 Love Never Dies continues the story of the beautiful Soprano Christine Daaé. Ten years after the flight of the Phantom from the Paris Opera House, Christine arrives in New York with her husband Raoul and their son Gustave to perform an engagement at Coney Island, the new playground of the rich. She soon discovers the identity of the shadowy figure that has lured her away from Europe to sing, and the shocking events of the Paris Opera House come crashing back into her life

Based on the Frederick Forsyth novel The Phantom of Manhattan, Love Never Dies is a £10 million production that’s bound to thrill and enthral. Described as ‘a rollercoaster ride of obsession and intrigue’, with amazing designs and a sensational score the new musical looks set to take the West End by storm.

Starring Ramin Karimloo as The Phantom, Sierra Boggess as Christine Daaé and Summer Strallen as Meg. Lyrics by Glenn Slater, writer for Sister Act. 

Love Never Dies - Full Cast Announced

The full cast to The Phantom of the Opera sequel Love Never Dies has been announced by the show’s producers. As previously revealed Ramin Karimloo takes the role of ‘The Phantom’, Sierra Boggess will play ‘Christine’ and Summer Strallen appears as ‘Meg’.

They will be joined by Joseph Millson as ‘Raoul’, Liz Robertson as ‘Madame Giry’, Niamh Perry as ‘Fleck’, Adam Pearce as ‘Squelch’ and Jami Reid-Quarrell as ‘Dr Gangle’.

The New Cast Members

Joseph Millson has worked widely in theatre, film and television. Stage credits include ‘King John’ and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ for the Royal Shakespeare Company.  

Liz Robertson has appeared on both the West End and Broadway. She starred recently as ‘Velma Von Tussle’ in Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

Irish actress Niamh Perry is a former ‘I’d Do Anything’ finalist – the reality TV search to find a new ‘Nancy’ in Oliver! She was most recently seen playing ‘Sophie’ in the hit musical Mamma Mia!

Adam Pearce recently played the characters of Brother Issachar and Baker in the popular production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at the Adelphi Theatre.

Jami Reid-Quarrell has worked with the Royal Opera House and Royal Shakespeare Company. Recent credits include the title role in ‘Monkey’ at the West Yorkshire Playhouse and ‘Puck’ in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

 

The Phenomenal Phantom

The Phantom of the Opera, based on the French novel by Gaston Leroux, has been seen by over 100 million people worldwide.The sequel to this cultural phenomenon is keenly awaited.

Set 10 years after the Phantom’s flight from the Paris Opera House, Swedish soprano Christine Daaé arrives in New York to perform. Coney Island is the new playground of the rich and thrill seeking, with exotic sideshows and wild fairground rides. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure lurks in the shadows, waiting and watching over his protégé.

Love Never Dies opens at the Adelphi Theatre in February 2010.
