Triplett, Bowman and IDA's Perry join Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! sees a new cast take over on June 13, led by Sally Ann Triplett. Perhaps best known for her Eurovision appearances, Triplett has extensive credits on stage and screen. In the West End, she has been seen in roles in Cats, Jolson (alongside Brian Conley who takes over from Michael Ball in Hairspray this summer), Anything Goes and Guys and Dolls. Sally Ann takes the role of Donna Sheridan from Linzi Hateley.

The role of Donna’s daughter Sophie will be played by Niamh Perry, who came third in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC talent search I’d Do Anything, won by Jodie Prenger. Niamh made her professional debut in Only the Brave at last years Edinburgh Fringe Festival alongside Any Dream Will Do runner up Keith Jack. More recently, Niamh has been involved in workshops for Andrew Loyd Webber’s Love Never Dies. Niamh will make her West End debut in Mamma Mia.

West End Theatre Breaks favourite Norman Bowman will be playing Sam Carmichael. Increasingly in demand, Bowman’s numerous stage credits include Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls, High School Musical and the Donmar’s recent production of Twelfth Night with Derek Jacobi at the Wyndham’s Theatre.

Also joining the cast are Christopher Hollis as Bill and Katy Secombe, daughter of the late, great Sir Harry Secombe, returns to the show to play Rosie.
