The Phantom Of The Opera

A truly romantic, memorable Musical and so spectacular that it is still a hugely popular show after 22 years. Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical tells the tale of unrequited love set both on and beneath the stage of the gloriously gothic Paris OperaHouse.Under 6's will not be admitted. Please note that until 30 October 2011 midweek matinee is on a Tuesday at 2.30pm from 31 October 2011 midweek matinee will be on a Thursday at 2.30pm.

There’s a very odd man living deep within the bowels of the Paris Opera House.  He wants his protégé, Christine, to star in the company’s next production and, as everyone discovers, it is an extremely bad idea to obstruct his desires. This dramatization of Gaston Leroux’s 1911 novel, Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, captures the darkness and occultism he ascribes to turn-of -the-century Paris. We are nearly certain that there are no demented beings lurking in the shadows of Her Majesty’s Theatre!

"Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical extravaganza... as spectacular a piece of true theatre as has been seen in years" The Daily Telegraph

"Magic, memorable and so spectacular" The Sunday Express

New Production to Follow Les Miz Model?

Cameron Mackintosh Now producer Cameron Mackintosh is apparently keen to present a newly imagined production, which will premiere in the UK before touring internationally. The production could follow in the footsteps of the popular Les Miserables 25th anniversary tour, which began performances in December 2009 at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff with new designs to sets and costumes and revisions to the original orchestrations. Laurence Connor, the co-director of the Les Miserables tour, is reportedly in line to work on the new Phantom project. The creative team could also include set and costume designer Paul Brown and Olivier Award-winning War Horse lighting designer Paule Constable.
