The smash hit Australian musical hits London with a cast including Oz legends Tony Sheldon and Jason Donovan. Based on the cult 1994 movie The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Priscilla tells the story of two drag queens and a transsexual woman who inadvertently embark on a voyage of discovery (and self discovery) while travelling across the outback to an Alice Springs casino in a bus named Priscilla.
The musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert broke box office records when it opened at Sydney’s Star City Casino in October 2006 and the production has also played spectacularly successful runs in Auckland and Melbourne before returning to its original home. Priscilla is pumped along by camp dancefloor classics including Don’t Leave Me This Way, Go West, I Will Survive, Hot Stuff and Finally.

| Priscilla Queen Of The Desert has been the talk of the week, after winning four Whats On Stage Awards at the weekend. Not content with that, it has been revealed, by cast member Oliver Thornton and Producer Gary McQuinn, that the show is likely to transfer to Broadway in 2011. |
McQuinn revealed the exciting news whilst accepting the award for Best Choreographer on behalf the late Ross Coleman. Paying tribute to Coleman “We are thrilled that he was able to make his West End debut with Priscilla and we are very disappointed he will not be able to join us for our debut on Broadway, which previews a year from today”.
Priscilla is based on the 1994 Oscar Award winning film, the film was transformed into a musical and opened in Australia to rave reviews, with current Priscilla member Tony Sheldon taking the lead.
